The biological baseline

What we measure, and why

VitalScan is not a wellness quiz. It is a structured biological-readiness snapshot designed to do one thing: tell you, in honest clinical terms, how aged your underlying physiology actually is — and where you are losing years without realising it.

The scan integrates four data streams. The first is a sixty-seven-marker blood panel covering metabolic health (HbA1c, fasting glucose, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR), lipid sub-fractionation (ApoB, Lp(a), particle number), inflammatory load (hs-CRP, homocysteine, ferritin), thyroid function (TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3), and hormonal status (total and free testosterone, DHEA-S, cortisol, IGF-1, vitamin D). The second is autonomic regulation — your nervous system's daily heartbeat-by-heartbeat capacity to recover, measured via HRV, resting heart rate, sleep architecture, and respiratory rate. The third is body composition through DEXA where available, otherwise BIA plus circumference. The fourth is subjective: a structured self-report on sleep quality, mood, libido, energy stability, and cognitive performance.

The output is a Transformation Score — a single number between zero and one hundred that compresses your full biological state into one calibrated reading. We then break that score down into four sub-scores, Metabolic, Recovery, Inflammation, and Identity, so you can see, exactly, which of the four axes is dragging on you and which is already strong.

VitalScan is the entry point for everything else we build. Members who apply through the funnel begin here. Without a clean baseline, no protocol can be tuned, no intervention can be measured, and no claim of progress can be honest.

The scan itself is non-invasive aside from a standard fasted blood draw, takes around two hours including the consultation, and the full report — written in plain English, no jargon — lands in your portal within seven to ten days of the draw. From that point forward, every retest compares back to your VitalScan baseline so the curve of your transformation is unambiguous.
